Sleds

** Note ** Real pictures to follow once I get them scanned ...

Past ...

1970 Massey Ferguson Ski-Whiz

The sled that started it all ... my uncle Steven's 1973 Ski-Whiz. He had a hard time getting away on a ride without me.

1978 Ski-Doo 300 Olympique

My first sled given to me by my parents when I was 13. Yes I doo admit it I used to like Ski-Doo's!

1979 Kawasaki Invader 440

My first "hot rod", I loved this sled! It was a rocket in its day and the fact that I sold it for 500 dollars more than I paid for it, was a real plus. If Kawasaki still made snowmobiles I would be riding them.

1990 Arctic Cat Prowler

insert pic of Prowler      My first Arctic Cat and the one that started it all for me! I bought it used in 1991 it was a 1990, the first year for them. I  loved this sled as well. It was a little under powered though. I kept it until 1997 at which time I upgraded to my Wildcat700.

Present ...

1993 Arctic Cat Wildcat

wildcat.jpg    I love this sled ... so much that I still have it. 1997-and counting. I never thought I would own a sled this long. It has had many updates some with the help of my father. I put a new clutch on it in 1997, the AC built clutch. Then in 2000,I blew the track and a shock. Special thanks go out to Dad ( Bill ) for the help! I just purchased a set of purple plastic skis.  If  I am going to keep this thing it is going to be one cool old ride!. I am hoping to place 144 studs int the track this winter and am going to put in a set of vent screens and am thinking of cutting the windshield. People have asked ... no it is not for sale!

Future ...

2000 ZR 600 efi

This is probably my next purchase ... if I can find a good clean one. I am looking to buy one in 2006 to compliment my Wildcat 700. I really like these. My Dad has a 1998 ZR 600 efi Limited. It works really well. If anyone has one please email me troyglydon@hotmail.com

2005 Firecat F6 efi

This is my new favorite Arctic Cat! If I ever get a chance to purchase one of these it is mine!  I think it is the best looking sled arctic cat has made in a long time.

Well there you have it folks all my sleds ... past ... present  ... and future. I don't have to have the best or fastest sled. I do however need to have a sled that mostly 1) handles 2) accelerates and 3) rides. This is my order and "cat" has always delivered. You can click here to view the sleds that have made my recent cool rides list!
